Do You Even Movie? | Ravenous (1999) Cannibalism in the Old West!

A starving stranger brings more than a survival story to an isolated frontier fort in “Ravenous” (1999). Henrique Couto and David Denoyer discuss Antonia Bird’s cannibal Western, starring Guy Pearce, Robert Carlyle and Neal McDonough. The Sierra Nevada winter, Wendigo-inspired mythology and the hosts’ first encounters with cannibal movies shape a full-spoiler conversation about hunger and power. Do You Even Movie? closes its winter-favorites run with a film where rescuing a stranger may be the worst decision the soldiers make.
