Do You Have Enough in Reserve?

from COPI Church Hosted by Pastor David Shipman

Church Service: 10/22/25 Are you truly prepared for life's challenges? In this powerful Christian sermon, Pastor David Shipman asks a crucial, introspective question: "Do you have enough in reserve?" Too often, we find ourselves reacting to circumstances not from the deep spiritual well of our inner man, but from the impulsive dictates of our head and fleeting emotions. This impactful Bible teaching unpacks the profound truth of the "treasure in earthly vessels" – the divine deposit God has placed within every believer. How can you access and utilize this spiritual wealth when facing trials and critical decisions? This inspiring message challenges us to re-evaluate our priorities and our Christian living. Are we choosing to live on the level of "things above" – embracing eternal perspective, biblical wisdom, and God's unchanging truth – or are we constantly swayed by earthly things and the pressures of the world? Pastor Shipman particularly highlights how many (especially in modern culture, with a specific mention of American society) tend to make crucial life decisions based too heavily on emotional responses rather than steadfast faith and godly wisdom. Gain transformative spiritual insight, practical wisdom for daily life, and discover how to cultivate a deep reserve of faith and inner peace that transcends any circumstance. This sermon will empower you to react with resilience, purpose, and the unwavering strength found in Jesus Christ.
