Do you know you have more energy than you think? This is the day to serve his blood gas with Anthony Fungini Man. Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.
Comedian Carol Burnett. No one can change my life for me. Only I can make that happen. Do you know you have more energy than you actually think you have?
Benjamin just shared with me, my younger son, earlier today, how he had just gone on a hike with his friends. And he was so ecstatic in sharing it. It didn't look like the same son who's been quite reflective, who's been pondering his future, who's been stepping back and reassessing his music in his business this past weeks. See, I did not see the energy in these other activities, but he came alive as he went on that hike.
See, I'd like to share with you this idea of, or reality of the fact that you have different energy sources, energy tanks, and the minimum is four. One is the physical, your physical strength, then you have the emotional, how do you feel? Then you have the mental, how alert are you at the moment? And then your spiritual, not necessarily from religious sense, although I'm a Christian, but the spiritual, the inner being, the sense of values, your core values, and your source of ultimate meaning.
So I could be physically down, but emotionally high. You know what I'm talking about, right? You could be emotionally struggling, but spiritually, spiritually alive. You can be physically high, but so distracted mentally.
You could be spiritually down, but at least in front of people, sharp and compromising. You have at least four energy tanks. And the idea here is to, number one, be aware that you have four, and the level of energy in each tank at any given time of day, or week, or at this stage of your life. So, make an audit of these tanks as they are today, in your life.
And tomorrow, we look at how we manage each, right, on a daily basis to maximize life. Be stronger than your strongest, excuse. This is an anonymous statement. And start making a difference.
