Good morning everyone. I hope you enjoyed and got at least one insight or one action step to implement in your daily life from my previous episode. Do you architect your divine feminine and masculine energies to achieve your goal? Today, as I said to meditate on what content to share, and at the same time observe how I'm thinking, feeling and acting, I realize that to get into the state of mind for doing the podcast, first I had to show up.
So, you know I used to show up to my middle, right? Where I can start, and I feel more energized to see myself and start. But this is how my inner one, inner game, or I can say this is how my divine intervention or whatever you call it, God, whatever for you. Today, I showed up to my notepad in the cell phone.
I just typed good morning everyone. That's it. Then, as I was debating with myself with the specific content I must talk about, this is, I tell you, as I discussed yesterday, it's a masculine, just to a type of energy, okay? From the book, emotional intelligence, and one topic they are covering is resilience.
It's a Harvard book review. One word jumped at me. Okay, it's a book I don't remember the pages, but then one word jumped at me. Creativity, creativity.
That's it. That reminds me of virtues and action, discovering your character's strengths exercise that I did a few years back. Be with me here. After I did that exercise, I realized gratitude and grit, spirituality.
These were a few of my character's strengths. Okay, I don't remember the others because in that exercise you get about five of your character's strengths. So, right now I just remember these and you know, whatever. But they also give you character's strengths where you need to improve.
Okay, so creativity was one of that. Let's go back to that. Or at that time, I was more of a logical step-by-step, direct action taker and less creative. That is when I committed and I said, I need to read and practice creativity.
Okay? So normally we think about, you know, I want to buy this or I want to get this material, things like that. There's nothing wrong with that. But there's something in me because as I talked about being an objective observer of you, I realized that I need to read about creativity.
I need to practice creativity. Okay? So, I choose to learn about creativity by consciously being aware of when I'm creative and look for how others are exhibiting their creativity. So, looks like two things.
There were two divine interventions, two ways of divine intervention. Or you can say, you know, what's this we have saying that, yes, Lalita, you are ready to talk about creativity now. Okay? One is reading that book, Howard Business Review's Emotional Intelligence, creativity.
And the second one is, I'll choose an action exercise which I did a few years back. Okay? Initially, the only aspect or an area I considered myself creative was putting Rangoli or Colum and knitting. As I associate to creativity with an art or create something praiseworthy.
I could not pursue these in an intense way to create more or to create a better piece or whatever after high school due to obvious reasons of life transformations like higher studies, job, marriage, moving to a different country and all that blah, blah, blah. But coaching industry and my inspiration to get coached and coach others moved me deeper to dwell into this character's things, values and all these things. So, let's come back to what creativity means to me now, how I exhibit creativity and how I see others exhibiting creativity. Let's go to the number one.
What does creativity mean to me now? I want you to be very, become aware, like, you know, when I'm saying that, what does creativity mean to me now? Start thinking for yourself, what does creativity mean to you also as I'm going to talk about what it means to me now? So to me, creativity means I'm able to move away from thinking or seeing a failure or unaccomplished goal as energy training problem to going inward, being present, boldly to my feeling of, oh my God, okay, it's a problem.
Sometimes I feel not good enough, sometimes I feel sad, feel it, just feel the feelings boldly, acknowledging it as a part of me. That's also part of me, okay. I know sometimes it can be a distinct way of saying like, I'm not my emotions, I'm not, I know, there are two different parts of thinking, but be with me here. There's a process, acknowledging it as a part of me.
Creating a step-by-step plan, and I said you move away, right, away from the energy training problem thinking, now we are going to move into. Move into, each of those steps gracefully with divine guidance, okay. And the divine guidance comes to you because that is what, that is where, like, your prayer, your meditation, you are being present, mindfulness, all these things are a type of divine, or practicing these things, day in and day out, can or will improve your ability to be intuitive or you call a divine intervention algorithm. Okay, so what happened here?
I moved away from something and moved into something, right, so that means I'm integrating or it is, I am integrating or you are integrating your emotional and logical brain beautifully and boldly. You're not afraid, yes, the problem has come, but at the same time, you are feeling the feelings, okay, I am sad, there is a problem, and I feel bad, and I feel emotional, and I feel not good enough, and I feel why all those things just feel the feelings boldly, debold to those feelings, and then you say, I'm going to step up, and then you step into the solution mode. And when you give yourself permission to do that, I promise you, you will get step by step solution, okay. Okay, the next one, how do I exhibit creativity?
I learned that creativity has two components, originality and adaptability. Based upon my own self-awareness and from the testimonials I receive from people, from my friends, from my relatives, from my clients, just by my day-to-day living, or just by the way I do my business. Or failing my business, whatever. I realize that I exhibit my creativity when I show up as resourceful with available resources, as resourceful with available resources.
So to give you some example, I asked this question, how can I use the available ingredients to make lunch for my family without stepping out to the market? So that means what, I'm saving some time, I'm saving some money, and I'm saving my personal energy, and then I'm creating a lunch with available resources. Okay, even though my mind might say, oh, no, no, prepare this, you need this, you need this, all the blah. That's about the personal.
Now, the business, yes, say let's say I'm in the lost mode, right? Okay, loss, oh my God, what do I do? Do I stop doing the business, or do I continue doing the business? I'm present to all those things, and then I go back to my bigger, why?
Why am I doing what am I doing? Why am I coaching? So I go back to that, and then it pulls me. Reasons, I sit and write down why I'm doing what I'm doing.
Then it gives me, okay, Lalita, you're going to keep this, you're going to go on, you're going to do more research, and then I will tell you that is divine intervention, when to close your business, or when to stop, and then whatever. So I'm saying, so integrating the emotional and the physical, emotional and the intellectual brain, that is also a creativity. This is what I learned, it's something I learned, what I assumed was only art and all those things, but I learned that this is also created. Now, how do I see it in others?
That's a third part, right? There are several examples I can give, but let me distill it to a few, right? I see creativity in others in their dressing sense, artwork, in their shopping pattern, decision-making skills, keeping fit, organization skills, frugality, simple things, and things like that. Frugality, simplicity, and so on.
So, to conclude this episode, I invite you to give yourself permission and first say to yourself, say your name. Let me say for myself, Lalita. I am, I, Lalita, and creative because every moment new skills are created in my body. Every day I'm evolving into a new me, whether I realize it or not.
Then do some, this is advice or suggestion, I don't think we like to be advised, right? Okay, then do some sound search and write down what creativity means to you. Maybe you may have to read some books, maybe you have to watch some videos or whatever. And see, for your personality, what does creativity mean to you?
How do you exhibit your creativity? You know, it's very nice to see a taken inventory of your inner self, of your inner intangibles. And then how do you see others exhibiting creativity? You know, that means that is also your world, how you're experiencing, how others are being creative in your thing.
But then don't see, don't feel bad, oh my God, they are so good, they are so, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Be present to that. When I say don't feel bad, I know it's like a contract with everything, right? Yeah, okay, just stop there and think, oh, am I feeling bad about it?
Or am I feeling jealous or am I feeling angry or something like that? And then be compassionate, bring that to that. And then there are ways to do it because there are ways to do it. But here, what I'm trying to say is become aware of your emotional state of mind when you watch the creativity in others.
Probably a part of you is having a strong desire to become creative in that domain. But then at this point, you do not have the knowledge or the expertise. So it is one way of saying that, oh, I'm ready to learn. That's all it is.
I suppose that. Okay. So I promise you, when you do all these, when you consciously look for what does creativity mean to you, how are you becoming creative or how are you creative and how you seek creativity in others, you will find your life more interesting, more inspiring, and you will, you will gain the new creativity muscle to work with. Okay.
With that said, I wish you a fantastic weekend and always, as always, my prayers for global health, global well-being and global prosperity. And you have a fantastic day once again. Bye-bye.
