1 John 5:3 KJV For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. God's commands to us should not cause us grief, sorrow, aggrevation, or appear to be burdensome: it should be a joy to obey Him! But what if we don't really like what He says? What if we don't agree with what He requires? What if we just don't want to do it? What if we resent His call?  What do we do in that case? Do we ignore Him ? Do we come up with our own plan? Do we devise another method ? Do you try to evade Him in hopes of getting out of it? We each need to know how much we love God. Loving God really means doing what He tells us to do, and really, that isn't hard at all. Any of God's children can obey Him. We can defeat sin and evil pleasures by trusting Jesus Christ to help us.
