Do Your Kids Know How To Problem Solve? w/ Sari Karplus

Do your children have a best toy buddy? That one friend who is always by their side. A playmate and companion just like Buzz LightYear to Andy in Toy Story. Our children have a special bond with their toys. For some children, a robot model is not just a toy but a robot friend. If that’s your kid, this episode is for you! Sari Karplus is back for another author spotlight with the second series of her book Robotastic! Jake and the Giant Beach. With her background in improv, a decade in standup comedy, and screenwriting, Sari is (no joke) a playful and fantastic author. Sari’s interesting Robotastic book series that almost turned into a short film provides so many gems and teachable moments on every page while giving readers a good belly laugh. Throughout the conversation, we discuss how a simple idea can turn into reality. Sari shares how her book helps children HOW to problem solve, take actionable steps, and why problem-solving takes time. She also highlights the importance of honoring our children and believing in their abilities.
