Dobropasovo Falls -- Dnipropetrovsk Enters the Fight -- May 25, 2026

I’m your host.  Today’s briefing from the Russian Ministry of Defence, dated May 25, 2026, contains a significant milestone: the liberation of Dobropasovo in the Dnipropetrovsk region by the EAST Group of Forces. This is the first reported capture of a settlement in that province, marking a westward shift of the front line beyond the Donetsk administrative border. Meanwhile, the CENTER Group continues to inflict heavy losses,  over 290 Ukrainian troops,  while aviation and missile forces struck 142 infrastructure targets, including fuel depots, airfield infrastructure, and an assembly area for uncrewed surface vehicles.
