LUCIFER luciferdm Welcome to the LUCIFER! Based on a collaboration between psychologists at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and the University of Liverpool we made LUCIFER (Least-Worst Uncertainty Choice Inventory For Emergency Responses) as a research method to explore decision-making in extreme environments. In this channel, we talk about the psychology of making decisions. We translate our on-going research in the field, interview those who have made impossible decisions and even show you how tips you can use to improve your own decision-making. This series is supported by a National Science Foundation CAREER In this video Professor Laurence Alison (University of Liverpool, Ground Truth) and I explore the biggest decision facing leaders across the globe. The simple focus of the Awakening is to pray and to learn about the power of corporate prayer, with the goal that pastors and leaders are given tools to lead their churches to pray. All of the speakers are selected for their emphasis on prayer and their focus on the in-breaking and stewarding of God's coming Kingdom. The Awakening conference is thoroughly Wesleyan-Holiness in its perspective and focus, seeking to retain the scripture, tradition, reason and experience to become a holiness movement again. We are also deeply committed to being focused not on a denomination or church affiliation, but rather to emphasize the need for desperation for the church to become one. Respect Due Museum of Colour This is Respect Due. For this project we’ve invited UK creatives, journalists and heritage organisations to nominate an individual who’s had a big impact on their creative journey, someone they would like to pay public respect to. The nominees are people who have inspired and innovated in their field, people who have demanded change and paved the way for generations to come. Their achievements are celebrated with a portrait in the Museum of Colour, by the artists Grace Lee, Erin Tse and Naki Narh. Museum of Colour is a digital museum celebrating 250 years of creative achievement by People of Colour. In this audio series, you will hear from some of the nominees themselves…Museum of Colour is incubated by People's Palace Projects. Respect Due is supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
