On March 11th we sat down with Dr. Sherry Yafai to discuss some of her experience as an ER doctor, but mainly, we spoke about her role as founder of The Releaf Institute (TRI) and work in cannabis based medicine. TRI was created to educate individuals on how to use cannabis products to accomplish their personal goals for medical treatment. Dr. Yafai discusses why she saw a real need for TRI, why doctors are hesitant to talk about cannabis and what some of the cannabis medical research is telling us.
