Doctor Strange

from GateCrashers · host GateCrashers

Did you see Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and say to yourself "I need a little more magic in my life" or even "I need to get a little more Strange"? Well if so, we've got you covered this week! Today's episode is all about Doctor Strange with our fellow GateCrasher and first time guest, Jordan! For this episode, Dan opened up a portal all the way to New Zealand thanks to a mysterious magical tome/software called Zoom to consult with a Doctor Strange expert on the topic to see where is a good place to begin reading more about the character! As someone who hates magic, even Dan found the spark in the comics we read but more so from hearing Jordan talk about his favorite character maybe in all of fiction. A lot of questions flew in this one about Doctor Strange's rogue gallery to pondering on what was going through the minds of the developers on Marvel VS Capcom when they threw in Shuma Gorath as a fighter. They really took us for a ride with that one... Fun fact about that multi-dimensional tentacle haver, they're a Conan the Barbarian character which we get into. At the tail end of the episode, Dan and Jordan give their honest thoughts and feelings on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness with FULL SPOILERS. But we give a ton of warnings, honestly Dan may have given too many. It's a lot of warnings that the film will be spoiled if you listen to the very end. You're warned there and here. That Jordan and Dan of the GateCrashersverse warn you and the Dan of our Earth (me) are warning you as well! For this episode we covered: Doctor Strange: The Oath Writer: Brian K. Vaughn Penciler: Marcos Martin Inker: Alvaro Lopez Colorist: Javier Rodriguez Letter: Willie Schubert Doctor Strange Vol 2 Issue 46 Writer: Roger Stern Penciler: Marshall Rogers Inker: Terry Kevin Austin Colorist: Bob Sharen Letterer: Jim Novak
