As Educators we focus a lot on sharing the learning journey of the children in our classrooms with families and fellow educators, but what about our own learning journey? In this episode of the ECCDC podcast we are joined by Melanie Dixon, the Director of Professional Practice with Ontario’s College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE), who share’s some insight on how educators can document their early learning professional goals and the steps they can take to achieve them. Melanie, is a collaborative leader and learner, who as part of her own professional learning journey is examining ways to support mentorship in the context of early childhood education in Ontario, shares her experiences of working in the early years sector and her role with the CECE, along with some tips and strategies that educators can utilize when documenting their professional early learning journey.
