Clean Energy Corps - $62 B initiative by US DOEWith the passage of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the Clean Energy Corpsis charged with investing more than $62 billion to deliver a more equitable clean energy future for the American people by: Investing in American manufacturing; Creating good paying jobs; Expanding access to energy efficiency and clean energy for families, communities, and businesses; Delivering reliable, clean, and affordable power to more Americans; And building the technologies of tomorrow through clean energy research, development, and demonstrations.Building a Better GridAs part of the Infrastructure Bill of 2021 the DOE is launching an initiative to invest $20 billion in what they call ‘building a better grid.’  There's a bottleneck for wind and solar projects across the US where there isn’t capacity on the grid and so these projects are stuck in limbo. This initiative is to support the build out of long-distance high voltage transmission facilities to help us reach Biden's goal 100% clean electricity by 2035.  Recent Show Highlights | Check out all our content at www.CleanPowerHour.com DOE Clean Energy Corps | Expanding the Grid | Clean Power Hour Quicktake https://youtu.be/zySQYdQHDRA | audioCleaning Up Thermal Power with Matt Lensink & Lisa Katz | #68 https://youtu.be/xZLmderKLpo | audioRenewable Energy as a Tenant with James Geshwiler | #69 https://youtu.be/XP9mX4iNCEM | audio Land Stewardship in the Solar Industry | Rhett Kerby, KerTec | #67 https://youtu.be/tTImJXEhAYo | audio Support the showConnect with Tim  Clean Power Hour  Clean Power Hour on YouTubeTim on TwitterTim on LinkedIn Email [email protected] Review Clean Power Hour on Apple PodcastsThe Clean Power Hour is produced by the Clean Power Consulting Group and created by Tim Montague.
