Doe-Ran - Trugoy Tribute (De La Soul Mix)

I first dropped this mix on March 3rd aka #DeLaDay, when De La Soul's catalogue finally landed on streaming services worldwide. It's such a tragedy that the group's legendary MC, Trugoy the Dove (aka Plug 2, aka Dave) passed away just before he was able to witness this celebration. It's still hard to grasp that he's gone. I have been a huge fan of De La from the start and was inspired to make a mix of some of my favourite tunes from their amazing catalogue. I wasn't able to include every one of my favourites, as there was just too many, but I'm happy with the final selection. R.I.P. Trugoy. De La Forever.
