Doers Not Hearers

from The Secret Place Hosted by Rise 96.5

In this episode of The Secret Place, Derek shares from the book of James which says that we are to be doers of the word and not just hearers. In the context of God's word, Derek defines the word 'doer' as a 'poetic performer,' or having an imaginative and emotive engagement with the word of God. Become a poetic performer of God's word today, a doer, so that we may be transformed in the mirror that we look into each day. Derek Peters is the Executive Pastor at Gateway Baptist Church in Brisbane, Australia. To find additional content related to this and other podcasts by Derek Peters, visit The Secret Place website.
