We are tempted to throw up our hands and give up before we have even begun.But in the raising of Lazarus, we are given a pattern for redemption and transformation.The community removes the obstacle.God gives the power.The individual comes forward.And the community helps restore them to life among others.Before resurrection happens, someone still has to roll away the stone.We may not be able to do everything.
