Does Castbox Understand Podcasting? #211

Todd Cochrane of Blubrry and Rob Greenlee of Voxnest dig into the issue surrounding the podcast feed hijacking and mirroring of feeds that Castbox undertook to apparently swing Google search results to their site and the ramifications of this action. It’s time again for podcasters to protect the intellectual property of their highly valued RSS feed, and ensure that third parties do not hijack and or mirror them ever. We have not seen any company do this in a long time but with the recent Google Podcast player this is likely to show up again as companies try to manipulate listeners onto their platforms versus their home sites.
