Does Disagreement = Hate?

Our culture perpetuates the idea that if you disagree with or don't accept my opinions, ideas, or lifestyle, then you are a hater and a bigot. Is this a true assessment? Jesus Christ has something to say on this matter. Could it be that in order to truly love someone, disagreement is needed? Is it difficult to love people who you agree with on everything?
