Does God Care About Sports?

It is a question that often arises during the heat of a championship game or amidst the intense training of a season: Does God really care about sports? On the surface, athletics might seem trivial compared to the weighty matters of the world, like justice, poverty, or salvation. We might wonder if the Creator of the universe concerns Himself with the score of a game or the outcome of a race. Yet, when we look closer at who God is, we find that His interest extends to every single detail of our lives, including the things that bring us joy, challenge our bodies, and unite our communities.
