Does God Change His Mind?
from VERSED · host John Lawhon
Today’s verses are the response to a question from a friend of mine. She sent me a text that said this, “Biblical question for you” I said, “Go for it.” She asks, “In Exodus 32, God declares he is going to murder all the Israelites down the mountain that are worshipping idols. Moses then pleaded with him & reminded him about his promises with Abraham, Issac and Jacob. Had God forgotten those promises? What made God change his mind?” “Give me time to study it?” I replied. “Absolutely.” She replied, “Enjoy the challenge.” Let’s dive in. This is the VERSED podcast; a daily pursuit to become more perceptive to what the Bible says. If you would like to dive deeper into certain verses in the Bible, have a verse you would like to submit to have included in a future episode, have questions about the Bible that you would like answered in a bonus episode, or simply want to connect with me... text VERSED to 88474 or click here Also included in that link is a list of resources and references I use in this podcast and can help you grow deeper in your faith as well.
