Does God Know I Love Him?

Send us Fan Mail Our obedience to the LORD should come out of our love for Him. Obedience to God is an expression of our love for Him. Jesus says: "IF ye love me, keep my commandments." (John 14:15) Notice "IF." God isn't interested in us obeying Him if we don't first love Him. The first 2 commandments are about LOVE and not works or working to earn God's favor, which is futility (Matthew 22:37-40).
