Berger is a Denver-based fiction author, with about two dozen published short stories, a couple novelettes, and a novella (which was work for hire and probably doesn’t count). He’s been published in Galaxy’s Edge Magazine, Daily Science Fiction, and a host of anthologies. In 2017, he was a Finalist for Writers of the Future. Narrator Andrew McCurdy is a writer and editor whose day job as a Speech-Language Pathologist involves providing nonverbal children with access to technology to help them communicate. He lives in rural Nova Scotia with a thirteen year old girl, two freakishly old cats, and an assortment of feral creatures who have assumed ownership of the woodshed and only grant him access if he’s carrying food.
