Does love promise   Does love promise smiles? So madly it beguiles But what happens when love goes through trials? Does love promise a sunset? Hop a flight to Vegas on a fast jet But what about the days when the smell of happiness goes pungent? Does love promise to mend? When you accidentally offend The day has just started when suddenly it seems like the end Love doesn’t promise us anything it’s true But it’s a magic shared between me and you Only we can make the wand shoot out a spark To illuminate our faces making magic in the dark Does love promise a tomorrow? Lose it and you’re left with sorrow Keep it by my side if I have to beg, steal, or borrow Does love promise success?
