Does Prophesy Always Come True In The Bible

Send us Fan MailSo, this little message is from a book written by Gordon Lindsay. I am just using his example of prophesy even though it is mostly right out of the bible. I will be adding my own fill-in if you will regarding the rest of the message. The book is titled “The 18-Silent Years and is written in series form about the life of Jesus.In the book Gordon titled the section, His Ministry, with the His representing Jesus. When I saw how he went from the Old Testament scriptures and showed how they came to pass or will come to pass in the New Testament scriptures, I thought that it would be a great little ditty message that further shores up the bible as being oh so very trustworthy as it remains infallible after more that 2000-yrs. No book ever has remained so enduring in and through time nor as interesting and relevant to our todays and our tomorrows. Of 2500 prophecies all have come to pass but nearly about 500 or less, and even with that many remaining, once they get fulfilled, as it is happening right in front of our faces today, the fulfillment will occur very rapidly. Not like oh we have a couple hundred more years before things wrap up but like we have such an extremely high probability that they will, that is the Bride-Church rapture being one of the key events, will happen in our lifetimes. The only concern we have impacts all of our eternity which is if the Pharisees didn’t recognize Jesus as God, as the virgin birthed miracle that they so often studied, how easy will it be for the likes of the modern Christian catch the 1st rapture, and the beginning of the tribulation? Is 9:6-7 - For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever.
