Does The Georgia Turnout Kill the Voter Suppression Narrative?

Georgia was ground zero in 2021 when the MLB All-Star game was moved from Atlanta to Colorado because of election integrity laws passed by the Georgia Legislature. Even the President and Vice President got involved calling it “Jim Crow 2.0” and saying it would “suppress the vote.” On Tuesday, Georgia voters will decide with their feet and their vote by going to the polls and voting. Right now, Georgia already has had more people voting in 2022 (an off-year election) than in the 2020 Presidential election.
