In this episode, hosts Kurt Lewin and Pete Beckett sink their teeth into a film that Kurt has seen but Pete hasn’t seen before, 2022’s The Menu. “A young couple travels to a remote island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef has prepared a lavish menu, with some shocking surprises.” We discuss, as is the usual way, the casting choices, some trivia surrounding the production and then do a deep dive through the scenes we enjoyed, some we didn’t and discuss our overall thoughts about the film, including story, shot choices and stylistic choices, before rating the film out of 5 stars.
