The Big Idea: On the cross, God took his love away from Jesus and gave it to us. He held out on Jesus, he caused Jesus to “know evil,” he cast him out of the Inner Ring so that we could finally come in, so that we could receive all that was Christ’s, and so that we could know the infinite goodness of God.
