Dog Vanished in Therapy Scandal | St. Louis News

A woman in Collinsville discovered her therapy dog, Chance, was missing after she noticed eerie photos of him appearing without his consent — only to find the training facility ran by unlicensed trainers who were secretly housing over 20 animals, many in horrific conditions. Police uncovered severe neglect, malnourishment, and even dead pets, leading to 16 felony animal cruelty charges against the trainers and one of their mothers. Chance is presumed dead, leaving his owner heartbroken but determined to fight for justice and pursue a civil case — while the community mourns the loss of a beloved dog who loved car rides and country music.
