Darrell Denton's life changed forever on November 6, 1992, when he experienced his first cryptid encounter in the forests of his home state of Tennessee. The event was so profound and unsettling that it kept him out of the woods and away from hunting for the next seven years. What began as a frightening encounter would eventually become the catalyst for a lifelong journey into the unknown.Years later, while fishing, Darrell had a second encounter that would alter his perspective entirely. Over time, he developed a relationship with what he refers to as a family of "forest people," opening the door to a deeper understanding of these mysterious beings. An experiencer as well as a dedicated researcher, Darrell has accumulated numerous encounters throughout the years. In 2018, he established contact with another clan of forest people, but the experience took a troubling turn when some members reportedly followed him home, terrorizing his farm and property for four months.
