Doing Greater Things Than Jesus Did
from All Saints Church Pasadena Podcast
"To the degree that you and I can do our internal work to lay aside the individualistic salvation projects we have for ourselves and for others and live into the win-win world of grace, then Jesus says, "You will do greater works than these that I have done. Simply get yourself aligned with the character of grace that lives between God and me and ask whatever you want in line with our character of grace and we will do it for you.'" Sermon by the Rev. Ed Bacon at All Saints Church, Pasadena, on Sunday, May 18, 2014. Readings: Acts 7:55-60 and John 14:1-14.
