Doing Something different – Interview mit Seamus Fogarty

Das dritte Album von Seamus Fogarty heißt Bag of Eyes und es ist der Versuch Dinge ein wenig anders zu machen. Mehr Drum Machine, mehr Snyths, weniger von der Gitarre, die den Künstler schon seit Jahren begleitet. Es ist trotzdem kein Kraftwerk Album geworden, aber es ist spielerisch und wunderschön in seiner Mischung aus altem und neuen Ideen. Ihr bekommt das neue Album von Seamus Fogarty "A Bag of Eyes" überall wo gute Musik verkauft wird. Er selbst empfiehlt die Vinyl Variante, die gibt es in extra schick auch direkt beim Label. Bitte unterstützt euren lokalen Plattenladen oder das Label direkt. A lot of my friends make amazing music and a lot of them are kind of in the folk genre. So I guess I kind of made a conscious decision to move away from that a bit more because what they're doing is amazing. I was like, alright, you know what? They're doing it really well, so I'll just move over here a little bit and just kind of do this, you know, and add this into it. I just used a different kind of set up for writing the songs. More just using drum machines and synths and stuff.
