Dolphins Stumble, But Stars Shine | Miami News

The Dolphins’ season opener ended in a crushing 27-13 loss to the Raiders, as they struggled to score and were shut out in two quarters. The defense, facing a depleted Raiders offense, still couldn’t deliver, while the offensive line and secondary took major heat for their poor performances. But there were flashes of promise: rookie Jacob Rodriguez led with 14 tackles, Caleb Douglas dazzled with 94 yards and key plays, and safety Michael Taaffe made an instant impact with an interception. All-Pro Jordyn Brooks also shined, but standout moments were overshadowed by glaring deficiencies — Chop Robinson vanished, Chris Johnson got beaten repeatedly, and the line surrendered multiple sacks. Still, hope remains for the rest of the season. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
