But on July 26th, 2009, something changed. While traveling back home from a camping trip with her 2 young children and 3 nieces in the car, Diane snapped. She drove erratically for miles until entering the Taconic Parkway in the wrong direction. She then struck another car head on, killing herself and 7 other people.
