The idea of hurting my partner or my children was unthinkable — something my own father would have confronted head‑on. That value shaped me, and it shapes the way I approach this issue.Years ago, during the height of the Me Too movement, I asked a panel of women a question: What can good men actually do? Not the performative stuff — the real actions that make a difference. Their answer was clear: call out harmful behaviour, refuse to tolerate abusive talk, and stand firm in spaces where disrespect is normalised. The truth is, I’ve never surrounded myself with men who speak that way — but that doesn’t mean the problem isn’t everywhere.This episode is about responsibility, culture, and the role men must play in ending violence.
