Send us Fan MailI've been waiting to have this conversation with this individual for a long time. I first heard her on the Unapologetically Her Podcast, hosted by the wonderful Natalie Nadeen, then a couple of weeks later we officially met in person at the Branded Entrepreneurship Conference in August 2022, and one more time at a holiday event for Business In the Streets (BITS) in December 2022. Finally, I could say that we got Monique Hutson, the founder of Dom Productions, on The Safe Room Podcast this week. Just like the title of this episode states, Monique has been dominating her business providing services in photography, videography, writing, and consultations, and doing it like a boss. Hearing Monique's story about the inception of Dom Productions is really fitting because she opens herself and demonstrates a vulnerable side where she wanted to go into journalism, but felt it wasn't right for her. She followed her heart and it led her to where she stands today, and if you have the time to listen to her, she'll tell you everything because in her own words: "I'm an open book... ask away and I'll answer it!" Monique exudes this energy not just for meeting people for the first time at events and functions, but also with her clients allowing for the conversation to be engaging and creative. Overall, Monique has accomplished so much in a short period, and this is just my take, I know she's only scratched the surface.
