Dominican Friday

In this chaotic, unfiltered episode, we kick things off by declaring we’re "Not a Straight Edge Podcast" and diving straight into Black Friday madness. Travis gets reckless with his coffee habits, and somehow, we end up talking about Gary Busey and Peoria, with a quick detour through Joe Girardi’s career. Sean vents about fancy stats and throws shade at Hawk Harrelson while we debate sports, including Euroleague basketball and Patrick Beverley’s situation in Israel. Then it’s a whirlwind of James Harden, Black conservatives, nu-metal, and Sean’s very vocal opinions on it all. Thanksgiving gets its due as we reflect on seasonal depression, BP gas stations owned by Turkish families, and the eternal battle of Kurds vs Cheese Curds. Things get nostalgic with a deep dive into fingerboarding culture, skateboarding memories, and Mike Schneider's influence. The second half shifts gears into wrestling, as we recap Costco Family Pro Wrestling, share childhood favorite wrestlers, and even plan an ethical revival of Bum Fights. There’s a wild segue into Arnold Palmer’s IRA stance, a debate over graffiti tourists, and the politics of bike lanes. We explore heavier topics like the Kosovo War, Serb-Albanian tensions, and somehow bring it back to U2, Bono, and why the Irish "don’t play." To lighten the mood, we drop ChatGPT limericks, Travis’s latest Hinge match, and the podcast’s dream of buying a retired championship belt. From Thanksgiving leftovers to hair metal nostalgia and WCW sabotage, this episode is a chaotic blend of laughs, hot takes, and wild tangents you don’t want to miss!
