Dominion over the Earth (Genesis No.3)

What does it mean to have dominion over the Earth? Dominion is not tyranny, and it is not even being at the top of the hierarchy established by God. Dominion looks like a responsibility to honestly address the problems found in creation and subdue them. This is not fleeing from or fighting against the truth of creation, as one such as Captain Nemo might do. This is not about subduing our fellow man, and demanding they fix the problems that we see.
