Do Malaysian children still know the stories of Sang Kancil, and the princesses of old? That question sparked Dondang Dongeng, a musical celebration of Malaysia’s rich folklore, which was first staged back in 2023. With five BOH Cameronian Arts Awards under its belt now, the show is a bold retelling of these timeless tales through song and storytelling.
