Donnell Rawlings & The Role of Comedy in a Crisis

Danielle chats with comedian, actor, and newfound podcast host Donnell Rawlings about the role of comedy in a new and uncomfortable world, the ways in which he is navigating this new normal and his greatest motivation and inspiration – his son. Donnell digs into his experiences as an "OG GOAT legend" comedian who has been in the game and found success and longevity by staying patient and present along the way. He reflects on where he is today in his career, from managing hecklers and haters, adjusting to this new age of comedy and virtual platforms, to prioritizing being home and raising his son. Donnell sees his role as a father, molding and instilling values in his son, as his capacity to create the change he hopes to see in the world.
