Donnell Vista Point Disappearances

from Locations Unknown · host Locations Unknown

The Stanislaus National Forest is located in Tuolumne County California, near the northwestern part of Yosemite National Park. The forest is home to hundreds of miles of streams, rivers, and over a thousand miles of trails.  Yet, just beyond the forests beauty lies a dark and mysterious past.  From 2005 to 2016, three individuals have gone missing, without a trace, at the exact same location; Donnell Vista Point.  Join us this week as we investigate the Donnell Vista Point Disappearances.  (Episode 45)Correction 1- During the location profile we correctly listed out the wildlife in this area of California.  However, we misspoke further in the episode in regards to Grizzlies in California.  One of the joys of doing the show live is you can't edit or re-record spots you mess up.  One of us asked if there were Grizzlies in this area and the other host replied no but stated there are Grizzlies in other parts of California.  This is incorrect.  There are no Grizzlies in California and there haven't been for decades.  Thank you to our listeners for pointing this out.    Correction 2 - The first subject of the episode was correctly described as moving from over seas to Oklahoma and residing in Nevada at the time of her disappearance.  We correctly mentioned that she originally drove from Nevada to Donnell Vista Point.  However, further in the episode, one of the hosts misspoke and referenced Oklahoma multiple times when he should have said Nevada.  We apologize for the error and again thank our listeners for pointing this out.   Want to call into the show and leave us a message?  Now you can!  Call 208-391-6913 and leave Locations Unknown a voice message and we may air it on a future message!  View live recordings of the show on our YouTube channel: Locations Unknown - YouTube  Want to advertise on the podcast?  Visit the following link to learn more.  Advertise on Locations Unknown  Want to help the show out and get even more Locations Unknown content!  For as little as $1 a month, you can become a Patron of Locations Unknown and get access to special Patreon only episode, free swag, swag contests, your picture on our supporter wall of fame, our Patreon only Discord Server, and discounts to our upcoming Locations Unknown Store!  Become a Patron of the Locations Unknown Podcast by visiting our Patreon page.  New Patreon Shoutout:  Since we recorded this back to back with episode 44 we don't have any new Patron's to report.  Learn about other unsolved missing persons cases in America's wilderness at Locations Unknown.  Follow us on Facebook & Instagram.  Also check us out on two new platforms - Pocketnet & Rumble.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/locations-unknown--6183838/support.
