Don't bankrupt the rest of us

Editor: Re: Letter, “No more expensive subdivisions; Wilson County needs senior housing!,” June 10 Well, this letter sounds good, but unfortunately that’s all the merit it has. Subdivisions create tax revenue, as would data centers, providing the county doesn’t throw the baby out with the bathwater by providing tax incentives to these entities. While the author calls for affordable senior housing, which is laudable, what she is really asking for is public supported affordable housing.
