Don't be afraid.

Don’t be afraid. Today I would like to address the fear we usually have of the unknown. “What if I don’t make it through? What if God doesn’t come through for me? What if I fail dismally? Maybe God doesn’t even exist? What if I am deceived, hoping in nothing thinking it is God?” I know you probably don’t want to admit that you have probably fought one of these battles in your mind. And whenever we fight such, so much fear comes upon us like a cloud, stealing all the joy that Christ has given to us through the power of salvation. It stands to be true today, that one needs to guard their heart and mind, against all the thoughts that try to hold us captive into the slavery of sin and worldliness. Any form of thought that induces doubt or fear about the existence of God must be arrested and immediately dismissed from our minds with an immediate effect. 2 Corinthians 10:5 says, “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” I, therefore, encourage you today, to practice the habit of never allowing thoughts that contradict the word of God over your life to ever flourish. Eliminate them while they are still in their seed form, and never allow anything to hold you back because you permitted it grow in you.
