Traditions are fun to continue on in our own families, but we need to remember that some of these traditions or rituals might not be appropriate for where our kids are RIGHT NOW. Keep in the back of your mind that increasing processing demand with lots of traditions, tasks, and activities may, in fact, increase a lot of stress or create more deflective behaviors, especially this year!
