Don't Believe the Hype
from ReidMyMindRadio Hosted by T.Reid
Politicians lying isn't a revelation. People have always debated facts. Today's access to social media and the ease at which just about anyone can publish and spread "stories" has made distinguishing truth from fiction much more of a challenge. In fact, it often feels as if a large percentage of society no longer cares about what is true. As this is the Power to the People series, I think it's important that we ask ourselves how we can play a role in reducing mis or disinformation from disrupting our lives. It's rampant, but that doesn't mean we have to fall victim or help spread it. I'll use a 9/11 related story from my own experience to kick-off the conversation.
