Don't call it a dream, call it a plan

I start this by telling how Joanne and I moved across the country - with no idea where we would live, or what I would do for work. But we had a dream of a better life and we took massive action before having all the details in place. Don't just live in your dreams. Take action - every step can move you closer to seeing that dream come true. Questions: 1. I'm feeling ashamed that I'm so far behind on your Stages of Life model. 2. I don't know what to do to make my life better. 3. Should I stay at my government job for 1.5 more years to get full retirement benefits or leave now? 4. The idea of self employment is somewhat intimidating, but I'm trying it out in smaller increments. Five point summary: A dream is a wish your heart makes. A plan makes your feet move. "I had no choice," actually means, "I had only one path that was easy in the moment." "I don't know what to do to make my life better." "Pray, but when you pray, move your feet." Don't stop learning and growing, no matter what stage of life you're in.
