DON’T CARRY THE OLD SEASON WITH YOU Key Scripture: Isaiah 43:18-19 “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?” Yesterday we talked about the leaves beginning to fall and how we have to trust God enough to let go of what belonged to another season. But there is another side to letting go. You can leave something physically and still carry it with you mentally and emotionally. You can walk into a new season while your mind is still replaying the old one. Spiritually speaking, You can step through a new door while your heart is still standing in the room you just left. You can even accept that something is over and still allow the emotions connected to it to determine how you live today.
