"Don't Defund the Police" | Ep. 8 Called and Unqualified

“Our money shows what we value, and I value safety.”  Hey, Friends! Today, we’re talking about the other side of the “defunding the police” debate, and you may be surprised to hear these views from a higher education student in California. If you would like to respectfully comment with opposing views, I strongly encourage you to watch the whole video, because you may find that we agree on more than you think.  So we’re going to look at what would happen if we took some of the funding from the police and applied them to five different areas: healthcare, welfare, substance-abuse rehab, mental health, and education.  The implications may not only be surprising, but would also bring police brutality to an all time high.
