Don’t Disrespect Greatness
from The Howitzer and Buzz-saw Show Hosted by George Gerbo, Mike Asti
As we inch closer to summer and crowning champions in the NBA and NHL, Mike "the Buzz- saw" Asti and George "the Howitzer" Gerbo are here to break it all down. This episode of the Howitzer and Buzz-saw Show starts off debating the futures of the eliminated NBA teams and what their futures look like. Has the Suns' window closed even with Kevin Durant still locked up? Are the 76ers better with or without James Harden? Then, Mike and George discuss Nikola Jokić's greatness. Mike argues why certain past narratives about Nuggets and their super-star were always unfair. The second half of the show moves to the NHL. Why are expansions franchises having so much success early in their existence? How much blame should Connor McDavid own for the Oilers falling short again? How impressive has the Panthers' postseason run truly been? All this and a Carmelo Anthony rant (cut to be released later) as the HBS conquers sports talk, one day, at a time....
