Don't Forget Your Helmet!

The helmet is essential because it protects the head. Without the helmet we go unprotected in enemy territory. Have you ever thought of why what you think about is so important? As one person said it “Watch your thoughts, they become words; watch your words, they become actions; watch your actions, they become habits; watch your habits, they become character; watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.” Why is it called the helmet of salvation though? What does salvation have to do with our head?
