Depression is a primary stategy of Satan against Christians and sinners alike. It gives way to physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional problems. The enemy particularly uses this weapon against believers to condemn, discourage, defeat, and hinder them from making serious advances into the territory that he has held in thier lives. His aim is to keep the believer from releasing their faith in the Word to recceive what they need from the Lord. But we are not ignorant of his schemes. Isaiah 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.
