Don't Go Snapping On My Jesus!

from First Baptist Church Of Chicago

This week Reverend Brown teaches from the text of John 8:31-38,48-56,58-59. In this text Jesus is set upon by some of his listeners when he dares to bring up their history. How many of us will attack the messenger when our situation or the situation of our family is called into question. As listeners we must always listen though the words and try to understand the meaning while as speakers we must always endeavor to not offend our listeners. Reverend Brown asks us to listen critically and question intelligently and not strike out at messages we disagree with. Often when we hear though to the meaning of the message we see truths in ourselves that are not always evident. Thanks to everyone listening to our podcast.
